Map of the designations

The “Friuli Colli Orientali” DOC territory includes the hilly area in the province of Udine, covering a total of more than 2,000 hectares of vineyards.

The map below shows the boundaries of the “Friuli Colli Orientali” DOC area outlined by the green line*, whereas the territories of the sub-zones are shown in the coloured areas as follows:

  • Refosco di Faedis Sub-zone (red area*)
  • Cialla Sub-zone (yellow area*)
  • Schioppettino di Prepotto Sub-zone (purple area*)
  • Ribolla Gialla and Pignolo di Rosazzo Sub-zone (grey area*)

Consorzio Tutela Vini “Friuli Colli Orientali e Ramandolo” also protects 3 DOCG wines: Ramandolo DOCG*, Rosazzo DOCG* and Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit DOCG*, whose respective territories are listed.
